Last Saturday we went to pick up some of our house paperwork and to attend the neighborhood party. Apparently they have these parties every couple of months for the neighbors to get to know each other.
There was a bounce house, pony rides, and free barbecue. We met several people that live on our (future) street, and also learned that the playground will be completed late May.
We invited our cousins to join us at the party so they could see our new neighborhood. We'll be just 25 minutes away from them.

After we got our paperwork, we faxed it to my mom's boss (a lawyer) to review. Then we went back on Thursday to sign on our house!
